Bike-Boat Dude

This guy rolled up to S. Lake Union on his Bike-Boat with his dog chillin in the front basket. Took care of some biz, then him and his pup hopped on the Bike, and surprisingly enough peddled in reverse...
Then him and his pooch Boat-biked away in the sunset.

SHI SHI

Woke up at 6:00am next day at Hobuck campground and walked less then 50 feet to check the surf. Was low tide and small so Ryan Davis from Spacecraft made the call to make the 3 mile hike into SHI SHI. After a muddy hike in the rainforest of WA we made it to one of the most epic beaches. Thanks for showing us this great spot Davis! Here is the coverage...

Walking out at Hobuck before 7:00am at low tide.
50 degree water at 7:00am = not awesome in my book.
Drove over to SHI SHI to treck 6 miles to surf. The start of pain...
Took a before photo of our shoes and was so tired and wanted my shoes off so bad when we were done that I forgot to take an aftermath photo. It's obvious to see who came prepared.
I remember coming to this sign on the way back and being so stoked!!
Getting close at this point. Epic views!
Almost there...and there's waves!
Walked about 600 yards more to get the armpit where there weren't too many death rocks.
The crew about to get radical on a two session surf extravaganza... oh, and did I mention we were the only people in the water?
After the two great sessions it was time to gear up for another 3 mile trek and some of us just weren't ready for more mud traps. So, thanks to Krush from the Summit and his roll of black duck tape that he claims to never leave home without. Trevor from Mervin was able to turn his canvas sandals into hi-top canvas sandals with a duck tape upper.

Trevor and Jamison cold chillin before the trek back.
One of many great views on the way back.
Joe W. from ZumieZ and Trevor making their way around a deep patch of black mud.
Catching my breath happened often, especially with views like this.
Back to the Sassy Chassy at last. I think my arms were 3 inches longer from carrying the 7'4" board for 6 miles.
Davis had to check another spot on the way back to Hobuck. Maybe an evening session in the works...?
Pete checking the surf at Hobuck breaking about 100 feet from our campsite. He really wanted that third evening session to happen.
Sweet vans, a great campfire, 4 different bottles of whisky, and a bunch of Bro's.... oh and one bottle of Tukwila!!
Campfire
Sun still showing after 10PM with a full moon.

Had an epic time!! Big thanks to Davis, Joe, The Sassy Chassy, Pete, Trevor, Andy Bergin-Sperry, the other Josh Stewart I now know, Krush, Jamison, and agin The Sassy Chassy.

Summer is Here...

SASQUATCH HUNTER

Got off the Ferry in Kingston and made our way to PA. Stopped to meet up with the caravan and ran into this dude who hunts Sasquatch full time. This rig is equipped with 6 cameras and a bunch of other serious Sasquatch hunting tools. Dude said he has seen him twice but has yet to get him on film. He was too legit to quit!!!

Dude also had a couple half wolf mix dogs in the back.

CUBS GAME

Not sure why... but, Buba Fett and a storm trooper were watching Aardsma warm up in the bullpen during the Cubs game. I wonder what Lou would have said.
"Check me out, I'm AWESOME"!!
